PRODUCTS - Innovation
- STANDARDS - Our products are the result of extensive innovation and rigorous testing. Each crane we build performs to exceptional performance standards in lift & reach, load capacities, reliability, ease of use, appearance, fit, weight and noise reductions. Our innovative product designs offer compact design, high tech materials, customization, great pricing & great service and ease of installation & maintenance.
- MATERIALS - Components are built using materials that are meticulously selected to the highest standards for maximum durability, strength, performance and on-board weight reductions and are either FEA analyzed or destructively tested. Crane or davit components are treated for peak level corrosion resistance and are painted to your custom color.
PEOPLE - Trained, Certified and Responsive
Our staff is committed to delivering high Steelhead standards in all areas and more. Staff members are trained and certified for their specialized tasks in all the Steelhead design/build/delivery areas: design & engineering, production, machining, fabricating, finish surface application, product assembly, shipping, sales, customer service and more.
PROCESSES - Streamlined Efficiency
QUICKER Delivery through "2-STEP STOCK & BUILD" Program
- STOCK: Immediate delivery is available on some standard models we keep in stock. We also pre-build and inventory davit components keeping them on hand for upcoming orders
- BUILD: We manufacture all our yacht cranes in a very skilled & efficient production process. This unique "Stock & Build Program" gives us complete control of scheduling and on-time crane order delivery that gets cranes to you 30-50% quicker.
Production of a new crane begins in our manufacturing facility that's CWB certified. Components are built and assembled to specifications in our plant. The completed yacht crane or davit is performance tested to 125% of its rated capacity and goes through systems check. Hydraulic flow rates are adjusted and the controls are programmed and checked. The finished crane is packaged and shipped to its new yacht destination.
INSTALLATION is quick & simple and saves yacht-prep time.
Steelhead has designed simple installation components whether standpipe, base or other mounting options. All components are sized to fit in the factory to minimize time needed for on-board fabrication. Each crane is shipped in one package. All parts are simple and just bolt together... allowing a quicker, easier installation. This significantly reduces the time and training needed for installing and completing the project.

- We back everything with two 24-hour service programs so that you're not stranded with a problem. Our "24-HOUR SERVICE" program makes every effort to answer your inquiry within 24 hours whether it's a part, a question or instructions you need. Our "24-HOUR PARTS" means we ship just about ANY part within 24 hours of the order so you get parts quicker.
